Hi Ken. I'm a Santa Cruz railfan (originally from Sunnyvale). I'm very impressed with the excellent railpages you post related to this subject. Keep up the good work!

- Eden Summer

"Saw your nice Caltrans Rail Program page. Enjoyed the photos, they are quite nice. Different too from many pix seen on these type pages. Thanks for your interest in Amtrak service in California. Keep up the good work!"

Nice page- I recently became aware of your group (NRHS) and it sounds like you are fairly active. Is there some way that I can keep up to date with what you are up to?

Dear Ken:

"Adult railroad themes? Revealing interior shots? Are you really a train buff, or a train in the buff fan?"

"You new pages look great. I also checked out you lite version of the tower. Of course I prefer the graphics intensive version, but for someone wanting quick info it's good."

- Jon Porter Sunnyvale, CA

"Hello and greetings. My name is John Martire and I live in Mariposa, CA. I just retrieved your writings on towers...(and) thought I would drop you a line. Keep up the interesting articles. Regards,"

- John

"The Sentinels piece was great. I remember many days sitting on the guardrail across the tracks from the Santa Clara Tower on the dead end street (next to FMC), watching the busy yard. I have a lot of memories, and your article (helped) relive many those for me. Thanks."

"Just wanted to drop you a line saying how much I enjoyed your San Jose Sentinels web pages. Excellent pictures and engaging writing.

Sorry to hear about the fire in the College Park tower. Since I grew up in Sunnyvale, I'm familiar with the areas you are describing."

Dear Ken,

I thought I'd just drop you an email to say thanks for the pages on the San Jose towers. Tower enthusiast (we know 'em as signalboxes in England) are still well catered for here in the UK. As you probably know we still have thousands of them! They range from large CTC-equipped ("panels" to us) on the main lines to small one operator (signalman) mechanical boxes still using semaphore signals and actually still lit by oil lamps. I am lucky enough to be a tower operator myself.

Ken,

Just read the Niles Tower site and Loved it. I spent a lot of time in that tower when I was young, lots of great memories. I learned about Train orders there.
