Santa Fe 3751 Multimedia Show at Aug. 15 Meeting
This month’s meeting of the Central Coast Chapter, NRHS, will be held Friday, August 15, at 8:00 p.m. in the meeting room of the South Bay Historical Railroad Society located at the Santa Clara Caltrain Depot, 1005 Railroad Ave., Santa Clara 95050. Everyone is invited to attend.
Following a brief business meeting, Central Coast member Jim Maurer will be giving a digital projection program of a CD he edited of still photos and videos of the recent San Diego Steam Special excursion. The material, contributed by numerous railfans, documents 3751’s run along the entire trip, including on-board scenes and the photo run-bys. (Photo of 3751 leaving LA by Ken Rattenne)
Meeting Place and Time
We meet at the historic Santa Clara CalTrain
depot, 1005 Railroad Avenue, on the 3rd Friday of each month. Doors open
at 7:30 and the meeting starts promptly at 8:00pm.
Our monthly program starts after a short business
meeting. Members and non-members are welcome!
