1575. Evelyn Stiles¹⁰ Andrews (Mary Rebecca⁹ Hough, Ira Hotchkiss⁸, Ira⁷, Sarah⁶ Royce, Amos⁵, Thankful⁴ Beach, Thomas³, John², ¹ Unknown) was born in Wolcott, New Haven, CT 9 April 1897. Evelyn died 25 February 1974 in Southbury, New Haven, CT, at 76 years of age. His body was interred in Pine Hill Cmtry, Southbury, New Haven, CT.

He married Hildegard Henschke 23 November 1929 in Collinsville, Hartford, CT. Hildegard was born 20 October 1904 in Berlin, Berlin, Germany. Hildegard is the daughter of Konrad Albert Henschke and Helene Pauline Bartsch. Hildegard's family immigrated in April of 1906 from Berlin, arriving in New York aboard the USS Philadelphia, and settled in Collinsville, CT. She became the school teacher in Granby and in West Hartford. Her school in Granby is preserved there as a museum. Evelyn fought in WWI with A Company, 345th Bn., Tank Corps, which saw action extensively in France. He later became an accountant for Uniroyal which transferred him to Michigan, Georgia, and New York City. While he worked in New York, the family lived in Tenafly, New Jersey, where he retired after 45 years of service. He is buried in Pine Hill Cemetery in Southbury, CT.

Evelyn Stiles Andrews and Hildegard Henschke had the following children:

+ 1609 i. Harmon Lester¹¹ Andrews was born 1 January 1931.

+ 1610 ii. Marlene Hildegard Andrews was born 22 January 1932.

+ 1611 iii. John Edward Andrews was born 20 November 1938.
