2. Richard² Beach (¹ Unknown) was born in St Albans, Devonshire, England 1611. Richard died 1691 in New Haven, New Haven, CT, at 80 years of age.

He married twice. He married Catherine Hull in New Haven, New Haven, CT. He married Catherine (Hull) Cook 1640 in New Haven, Connecticut. Catherine was born 1612 in England.

Richard Beach and Catherine (Hull) Cook had the following children:

+ 5 i. Mary³ Beach was born June 1642.

6 ii. Benjamin Beach was born in New Haven, New Haven, CT 28 October 1644. Benjamin died 10 April 1715 in Stratford, Fairfield, CT, at 70 years of age. He married twice. He married Sarah Welles 1 February 1678. He married Mary (Wheeler) Fairchild 5 December 1705.

7 iii. Azariah Beach was born in New Haven, New Haven, CT 6 July 1646. Azariah died 1696 at 49 years of age. He married Martha Ives 1675. Martha was born 1646 in New Haven, New Haven, CT. Martha was the daughter of William Ives and Hannah Dickerman. Martha died 1666 in New Haven, New Haven, CT, at 20 years of age.

8 iv. Mercy Beach was born in New Haven, New Haven, CT 21 May 1648.

+ 9 v. Abigail Beach was born 1653.
