She married Miles S. Upson 20 April 1845 in Wolcott, New Haven, CT. Miles was born 6 December 1820 in Wolcott, New Haven, CT. Miles was the son of Selah Upson and Martha Hitchcock.

Mary Asenath Hough and Miles S. Upson had the following children:
