159. Joseph5 Beach (Nathan4, Thomas3, John2, 1 Unknown) was born 10 June 1714. Joseph died 25 July 1795 in At Age 82, at 81 years of age.
He married Experience A\K\A Obedience Beecher 31 October 1734. Experience was born 12 July 1719. Experience died 20 September 1789 in At Age 70, at 70 years of age. This man is confused by some early genealogists with Joseph Beach(4), Benjamin(3) Azariah(2) Richard(1), who resided at Durham, Connecticut, whereas this Joseph Beach lived at Waterbury. Both had sons named Joseph who have likewise been confused. See: THE BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vol. I, No. 3, pp. 60 -61 for a discussion of this problem. This Joseph Beach kept a tavern at Waterbury which housed wounded soldiers during the Revolution.

Amos Beach was born 13 January 1756. Compare his date of birth with the supposed date of death of his older brother,
likewise named Amos, who supposedly died the same day. This younger Amos Beach served in the Revolution.
