162. Nathan5 Beach (Nathan4, Thomas3, John2, 1 Unknown) was born 23 May 1721.

He married twice. He married Sarah Burton(?). He married Desire (Herrick) Bixby. Her last name is sometimes given as Bigsby. He moved to the Wyoming Valley in what is now New York in 1769. He escaped the "Wyoming Massacre" in July, 1778, and in the fall of that year moved to Fort Jenkins, Columbia County, Pennsylvania. In 1779 he crossed over to Northampton County, near Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and assisted in the building of block houses in the area during the Revolution. In 1794 he was a captain of the militia.

Nathan Beach and Desire (Herrick) Bixby had the following children:
