1279. Kossuth⁸ Beach (John Lawrence⁷, Stephen⁶, Nathan⁵, Nathan⁴, Thomas³, John², ¹ Unknown) was born in Adams County, Ohio 1854. Kossuth died 1897 in Deadwood, Meade County, South Dakota, at 43 years of age. His body was interred in Ansley, Custer County, Nebraska.

He married -----. The 1900 Census of Ansley Township, Custer County, Nebraska, lists a Sarah A. Beach, age 38, widowed, born in Illinois, who is believed to be his widow. Living with her are son John A. Beach, b. 1882 in Illinois and daughter Dora A. Beach, b. 1889 in Nebraska. The father of these children is said to have been born in Ohio. A news account of Kossuth Beach's death, however, says he had three children. Chester Beach is probably the third, but other records suggest there was a forth child, Ernest Beach.
