167. Elihu5 Beach (Nathan4, Thomas3, John2, 1 Unknown) was born 14 December 1734.

He married Zerviah Byington 16 June 1755. He moved to Vermont.

Elihu Beach and Zerviah Byington had the following children:

child 377 i. Hannah6 Beach was born 1 June 1756. She married Benoni Patrick 26 February 1777 in Windsor, Vermont. He was of Windsor, Vermont.

child 378 ii. Lydia Beach was born 1 March 1758.

child 379 iii. Phebe Beach was born 20 August 1761.

child 380 iv. Stephen Beach was born 4 May 1763. He served in the Revolution and later applied for a pension based on his service. Following the war he moved to Canada for 10-12 years, but returned to the United States in 1815. It is not known if he married or had issue.

child 381 v. Elihu Beach was born 26 May 1764/1765. He is said to have been the first white child born at Waterbury, Connecticut. He may have served in the Revolution c. 1780 as a soldier in Vermont.

child 382 vi. Zerviah Beach was born 30 January 1767. She married Jacob Taylor 29 March 1788. The BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vol. I, No. 3, p. 62, gives the date of marriage as above, but at Vol. II, No. 1, p. 115, says the year was 1786.

child 383 vii. Jemima Beach was born 16 January 1769.

child 384 viii. Ann Beach was born 3 August 1771.
