188. Caleb5 Beach (Caleb4, Thomas3, John2, 1 Unknown) was born 10 March 1732. Caleb died 1781 in New
Ashford, Massachusetts, at 49 years of age.
He married Lois Preston 18 November 1756. Lois was born 3 February 1737/1738. Lois died 4

Caleb Beach and Lois Preston had the following children:

Jotham6 Beach was born in Goshen, Connecticut 25 August 1757.
Jotham died 8 August 1797 at 39 years of age. He married Mary -----. There is some confusion as to
his date of birth. The BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vol. I, No. 3, p. 64, says born 25-Aug-1757 or 27-Aug-1757. In Vol. II, No. 1, p. 117,
however, is says born 26-Aug-1757. The 1790 Census of New Ashford, Massachusetts, suggests he had children, but their names are not known.
Note that records of Goshen, Connecticut, give a William, son of Caleb Beach, born in August, 1757.
