462. Moses Tyler⁶ Beach (Caleb⁵, Caleb⁴, Thomas³, John², ¹ Unknown) was born in New Ashford, Massachusetts 1763. Moses died 11 January 1851 in East Otto, New York, at 87 years of age.

He married Lois Brown 1 August 1790. Lois died 11 March 1842. She was a widow with two daughters by her prior marriage: (i) Rhoda, and (ii) Lucy. He moved to East Otto, New York, in October, 1821, where he and his sons built a grist mill.

Moses Tyler Beach and Lois Brown had the following children:

+ 913 i. Joseph Henry (Harry)⁷ Beach was born 4 July 1791.

+ 914 ii. Augustus Beach was born 28 April 1793.

915 iii. Mary (Polly) Beach was born 15 July 1795. She married Jacob Huff.

+ 916 iv. Tyler Moses Beach was born 14 April 1798.

917 v. Lois Beach was born 17 March 1800. She married Arnold Bentley(?). There is some confusion between this Lois Beach and her aunt, Lois Beach(5) Caleb(4) Caleb(3) Thomas(2) John(1). The BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vo. II, No. 1, p. 119 says the latter married Arnold Bentley and had children Cyrus, Mary, Emma and Lois/Lucy. At Vol. III, No. 1, p. 230, however, it gives the same husband and children to Lois Beach(6) Moses Tyler(5) Caleb(4), etc.
