204. Joseph⁵ Beach (Ephriam⁴, Nathaniel³, John², ¹ Unknown) was born 1717.

He married twice. He married Esther Mansfield. He married Deborah Jackson 6 March 1756. The children of this Joseph Beach by his first wife are sometimes credited to Joseph Beach(3) Joseph(2) John(1), but it is generally believed the line of Joseph(3) Joseph(2) died out before 1800. Moreover, the "Mansfield" name appears among various descendants of the children below; a clear reference to their mother's maiden name and, thus, the identity of this Joseph as their father.

Joseph Beach and Deborah Jackson had the following children:

+ 486 v. Jemima Beach was born 23 March 1754.

487 vi. Elizabeth Beach was born 14 January 1755. The BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vol. I, No. 3, p. 65, gives her as a "prob." child of Joseph Beach by his second wife. At Vol. II, No. 1, p. 119, it gives her date of birth as "January, 1754(?)".

488 vii. Charity Beach was born February 1756.
