210. David⁵ Beach (David⁴, Nathaniel³, John², ¹ Unknown) was born 1727. David died 1797 at 70 years of age.

He married Ruth Hawley 30 November 1745. He was of North Stratford, Connecticut, but moved to New Milford, Litchfield County, Connecticut, where he was a farmer. There is evidence he served in the Connecticut militia during the Revolution, but some credit his service to his son, David Beach, Jr. He bought land in Bridgewater, Connecticut, in 1768 but it is not known if he ever lived there, although several of his sons did.

David Beach and Ruth Hawley had the following children:

+ 503 i. Eunice⁶ Beach was born 14 October 1749.

504 ii. Ruth Beach was born 31 December 1751. She married John Edwards 3 November 1768. Line 7332 from GEDCOM File not recognizable or too long: BAPM Line 7333 from GEDCOM File not recognizable or too long: BAPM DATE 19 JAN 1752 The BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vol. I, No. 3, p. 65, gives her dates of birth and baptism as above, but at Vol. II, No. 1, p. 120, says born 31-Dec-1752. This is clearly in error, however, if the date of baptism given is correct.

+ 505 iii. David Beach was born 25 November 1753.

+ 506 iv. John Beach was born 6 February 1757.

507 v. Sarah Beach was born 12 April 1758. She married ----- Beebe. Line 7373 from GEDCOM File not recognizable or too long: BAPM Line 7374 from GEDCOM File not recognizable or too long: BAPM DATE 16 APR 1758

+ 508 vi. Robert Beach was born 25 October 1760.

509 vii. Hannah Beach was born 28 September 1764. She married James Wayland. She was twin to her sister, Anna Beach.

510 viii. Anna Beach was born 28 September 1764. She married ----- Wheeler. She was twin to her sister, Hannah Beach.

+ 511 ix. Abijah Beach was born 19 September 1766.
