211. Elnathan⁵ Beach (David⁴, Nathaniel³, John², ¹ Unknown) was born 11 May 1729. Elnathan died 22 August 1799 at 70 years of age.

He married Lydia Harrington 27 February 1750/1751. Lydia was born 5 January 1733. Lydia died 4 October 1793 at 60 years of age. The BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vol. I, No. 3, p. 65, gives Lydia (Harrington) Beach's date of death as above, but goes on to say her will is dated 24-Sep- 1794 and was proved 14-Oct-1799; an obvious inconsistency. Daughter Lucy is credited to this man by notes of Theodore D. Rogers, of Norwalk, Connecticut, made in 1900, but this is questionable.

Elnathan Beach and Lydia Harrington had the following children:

512 i. Lucy⁶ Beach. She married Ebenezer Rogers 10 September 1772 in Branford, Connecticut.

513 ii. Hannah Beach was born in Branford, Connecticut 15 November 1751. She married Daniel Salmon.

+ 514 iii. Eunice Beach was born 2 November 1753.

+ 515 iv. John Harrington Beach was born 5 January 1756.

516 v. Lydia Beach was born in Branford, Connecticut 18 April 1758. She married Obed Linsley 23 December 1778.

+ 517 vi. Bette Beach was born 20 June 1760.

+ 518 vii. Elnathan Beach was born 10 December 1764.

519 viii. David Beach was born in Branford, Connecticut 30 May 1767. He may have died young since he is not mentioned in his father's 1799 will.

+ 520 ix. Samuel Beach was born 3 May 1769.
