Mathew Beach and Martha Nichols had the following children:

548 i. Elizabeth⁶ Beach was born 23 August 1765.

549 ii. Jerusha Beach was born 21 May 1767. She married Solomon Hart. Solomon was born 8 May 1766.

550 iii. Ruth Beach was born April 1769.

+ 551 iv. Stiles Beach was born 3 June 1770.

552 v. Josiah Beach was born 3 October 1772.

553 vi. Gideon Beach was born 1774. The BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vol. II, No. 1, p. 122, suggests he may also have been born in 1779 and questions his attribution as a son of Mathew Beach(5) Josiah(4).
