242. Israel⁵ Beach (Israel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², ¹ Unknown) was born September 1740. Israel died 30 August 1819 at 78 years of age.

He married Lois Hawley. Lois was born 10 August 1747. Lois died 15 March 1813 at 65 years of age. The BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vol. I, No. 3, p. 67, says he was born in 1738, based on a reported age at death of 81. He saw service in the Revolution and is said to have died at the home of his daughter, Abigail (Beach) Thompson, at Madison, New York.

Israel Beach and Lois Hawley had the following children:

592 i. Mary⁶ Beach was born 30 March 1772. She married George McEwen 1 January 1797. George was born 22 January 1770.

593 ii. Anna_A\K\A Ruth Ann Beach was born 11 April 1774.

594 iii. Sarah Beach was born 31 March 1776. She married William Beardsley.

595 iv. Abigail Beach was born 31 January 1778. She married Stephen Thompson.

+ 596 v. Aaron Beach was born 18 March 1780.

597 vi. Betsey Beach was born 15 August 1782. She married Jonathan Baker. The BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vol. I, No. 3, p. 67, gives her date of birth as above, but at Vol. II, No. 1, p. 124, says she was born 5-Aug-1782.

+ 598 vii. David Beach was born 10 May 1785.

599 viii. Philo Beach was born 19 September 1787. Philo died 18 January 1811 in At Age 24, at 23 years of age.

+ 600 ix. Elam Beach was born 21 June 1789.

+ 601 x. Hezekiah Beach was born 19 October 1792.

602 xi. Phebe Beach was born 14 August 1795. Phebe died 12 March 1813 in At Age 18, at 17 years of age.
