357. Asa⁶ Beach (Joseph⁵, Nathan⁴, Thomas³, John², ¹ Unknown) was born 1 August 1759. Asa died 27 September 1832 in Baker, New York, at 73 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Benham 1 February 1781. Elizabeth was born 21 August 1756. Elizabeth died 12 August 1834 at 77 years of age. The BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vol. I, No. 3, p. 61, gives his date of death as 27-Sep-1783, but corrects this in Vol. II, No. 1, p. 113. He saw service in the Revolution and applied for a pension. At the time he was living at Fleming, Cayuga County, New York.

Asa Beach and Elizabeth Benham had the following children:

791 i. Asa Austin⁷ Beach was born 15 November 1786. Asa died 26 March 1797 at 10 years of age.

792 ii. Mehitable Beach was born 10 December 1788.

793 iii. John Beach was born 2 December 1790.

794 iv. Eliza Jane Beach was born 3 June 1794. Eliza died 26 May 1844 at 49 years of age.

795 v. Harvey Beach was born 30 April 1796. Harvey died 30 June 1833 at 37 years of age.

796 vi. Asa Austin Beach was born 21 April 1798. Asa died 14 August 1809 at 11 years of age.

797 vii. Ransom Beach was born 11 February 1801.

798 viii. Mary Curtis Beach was born 22 May 1803. Mary died 16 November 1835 at 32 years of age.
