443. Samuel6 Beach (Gershom5, Gershom4, Thomas3, John2, 1 Unknown) was born in Morris County, New Jersey 1752. Samuel died 10 April 1829 in Whiting, Vermont, at 76 years of age.

He married Mary Stewart. Mary died 18 October 1820 in At Age 61. She was the widow of ----- Foster. He was an ensign and lieutenant during the Revolution and was later made a major of the Vermont militia. Some claim it was this man who made the famous "hike" in 1775 to rally the Green Mountain Boys for the raid of Fort Ticonderoga, rather than his father, Gershom Beach(4) Gershom(3).

Samuel Beach and Mary Stewart had the following children:

child 857 i. Parker7 Beach. He died without issue.

child 858 ii. Rose Beach.

child 859 iii. Mary S. Beach. Mary died 1 March 1771 in At Age 4.

child 860 iv. Lydia Beach was born 25 November 1779.

child 861 v. Deliverance A\K\A Deliah Beach was born 25 November 1781. She died without issue.

child 862 vi. Mary Stewart Beach was born 28 February 1784.

child 863 vii. Ann Mary Stewart Beach was born 28 February 1785. Ann died 9 April 1788 at 3 years of age.

child 864 viii. Lucy Beach was born 20 May 1787.

child 865 ix. Samuel Elmore Beach was born 2 September 1796. Samuel died 8 October 1815 at 19 years of age.
