444. Ruth⁶ Beach (Gershom⁵, Gershom⁴, Thomas³, John², ¹ Unknown) was born in Morristown, New Jersey 11 January 1758. Ruth died 1 September 1825 at 67 years of age.

She married Benjamin Cooley 18 February 1773. Benjamin was born 30 April 1747. Benjamin died 27 February 1810 at 62 years of age. He was a captain of a company from Pittsford, Vermont, during the Revolution. After the war he was made a colonel of the militia.

Ruth Beach and Benjamin Cooley had the following children:

866 i. Benjamin⁷ Cooley was born 9 January 1774. Benjamin died 7 December 1858 at 84 years of age. He never married.

867 ii. Samuel Cooley was born 14 November 1775.

868 iii. Ruth Cooley was born 31 December 1777.

869 iv. Azariah Cooley was born 7 April 1780. Azariah died 5 September 1852 at 72 years of age.

870 v. Noah Cooley was born 2 July 1782.

871 vi. Mary Cooley was born 29 January 1786.

872 vii. Naomi Cooley was born 6 October 1788.

873 viii. Eunice Cooley was born 16 April 1791.

875 x. Dorothy Cooley was born 17 May 1794.
