446. John⁶ Beach (Gershom⁵, Gershom⁴, Thomas³, John², ¹ Unknown) was born 1766. John died 21 June 1821 in Lewiston, New York, at 54 years of age.

He married Mary Cushman. Mary died 1818. He owned a farm outside of Lewiston, New York, which was ravaged by the British during the War of 1812. After the war he filed a claim for damages which included the loss of his house and barns, livestock and cash. His estate was probated in Niagara County, New York, in 1824.

John Beach and Mary Cushman had the following children:

888 i. Almira⁷ Beach.

889 ii. Rachel Beach. She died of cholera at Lewiston, New York.

890 iii. Eliza Beach.

891 iv. Louisa Beach.

892 v. John Beach.

893 vi. Elsie Beach.

894 vii. Polly Beach. She is possibly the same as her supposed sister, Mary Beach(6) John(5), since Polly was a common nickname for Mary.

895 viii. Mary Beach was born 1785.

896 ix. Samuel Stewart Beach was born 26 October 1786. Line 10449 from GEDCOM File not recognizable or too long: DEAT DATE young

897 x. Noah Beach was born in Whiting, Vermont 3 October 1788. Noah died 23 May 1866 in Bridgeport, Saginaw County, Michigan, at 77 years of age.

898 xi. Lovina Beach was born in Geneva, New York 1802. Lovina died 1 July 1879 in Pontiac, Michigan, at 77 years of age.

899 xii. Harriet Beach was born 1804. Harriet died 1823 at 19 years of age.
