491. Ephriam⁶ Beach (Ephriam⁵, David⁴, Nathaniel³, John², ¹ Unknown) was born 21 September 1748. Ephriam died 22 March 1827 at 78 years of age.

He married Mary Edwards 24 January 1771. The BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vol. I, No. 3, p. 65, however, says born in 1746. He served in the Revolution, beginning with Col. Andrew Ward's regiment of Connecticut militia. He joined Washington in August, 1776, and was at the battles of Trenton, 25-Dec-1776, and Princeton, 3-Jan-1777.

Ephriam Beach and Mary Edwards had the following children:

988 iii. Rice Edwards Beach was born 26 February 1780. Rice died 24 July 1860 in At Age 80 Years, 4 Months, 28 Days, at 80 years of age.

989 iv. Anna Beach was born February 1782.

990 v. Abijah Beach was born 1785.

991 vi. Ephriam Wells Beach was born 15 April 1787. Ephriam died 28 September 1874 in At Age 87 Years, 8 Months, at 87 years of age.

992 vii. David Sherman Beach was born 23 February 1789.

993 viii. Francis Beach was born 1791. He is given by the notes of Helen and Mary E. Beach, authors of THE DESCENDANTS OF THOMAS BEACH OF MILFORD, CONNECTICUT, as a child of Ephriam Beach(5), but the attribution is uncertain.
