554. Nathaniel⁶ Beach (Thomas⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², ¹ Unknown) was born 1756. Nathaniel died 25 October 1825 in Sullivan County, New York, at 69 years of age.

He married Ruth Porter 31 January 1788. The BEACH FAMILY MAGAZINE, Vol. I, No. 3, p. 66, assigns this man to Nathan Beach(4), but corrects this at Vol. I, No. 4, p. 109. The latter entry also gives his date of death as above, but at Vol. II, No. 1, p. 123, the date is given as 5-Oct-1825. This Nathaniel Beach served in the Revolution and applied for a pension. The data on the children below is contained in the pension file in a memorandum in his own hand. He moved to Liberty, Sullivan County, New York, c. 1812 where he was a tailor by trade.

Nathaniel Beach and Ruth Porter had the following children:

1080 i. Joseph⁷ Beach was born 3 August 1788.

1081 ii. Abigail Beach was born 19 March 1790.

1082 iii. Isaac Beach was born 6 February 1794. Isaac died 17 October 1874 at 80 years of age.

1083 iv. Elizabeth Beach was born 3 June 1797.

1084 v. Nathan Beach was born 17 March 1800.

1085 vi. Sarah Beach was born December 1803.

1086 vii. Nancy Beach was born 1808.
