115. William6 Templeton (Richard7) was born in Boihy, Drumlease, Leitrim, Ireland in 1850. William worked as a Coal Miner. William died 26 October 1918 in Rutherglen, Lanark, Scotland (of Senility), aged 78. His death certificate was signed by his son, Thomas Templeton, and lists his parents as Richard Templeton and Fanny Siberry.

He married Isabella Templeton 12 September 1867 in Manorhamilton, Manorhamilton, Leitrim, Ireland. Isabella was born 1850 in Boihy, Drumlease, Leitrim, Ireland. Isabella was the daughter of Thomas Templeton and Catherine Bradley. Isabella died 16 May 1905 in Rutherglen, Lanark, Scotland of heart failure (aged 55). At that time, her husband was still living and both her parents were deceased. Her father was a Farmer.

William Templeton and Isabella Templeton had the following children:

child i. Richard Templeton was born December 1868. Richard died 19 October 1869, aged 11 mos, at 74 Main Street, Rutherglen, Lanark, Scotland .

child ii. Thomas Templeton was born 4 August 1870 in Rutherglen, Scotland. In the 1901 Scottish Census, he was living at home, aged 30, and was employed as a general laborer. Thomas died 17 November 1938 at 68 years. His death certificate states that he was a Chemical Worker and that he died of acute bronchitis. His death certificate was signed by his neice, Janet Stewart, who lived on 757 Ackenhead Road, Glasgow.

child iii. William Templeton was born 13 July 1873 in Rutherglen, Scotland. In the 1891 census, he was living at home and working at an Iron Foundry.

child + 47 iv. James5 Templeton was born 22 August 1874.

child v. Margaret Ann Templeton was born 18 May 1877. She married David Steele 26 April 1895 in Bridgeton, Glasgow, Scotland. David was the son of John and Sarah Steele.

child vi. John Templeton was born 24 June 1884 in Rutherglen, Scotland. In the 1901 Scottish Census, he was living at home, aged 16, and was employed as a general laborer.

child vii. Christina Templeton was born about 1886 in Rutherglen, Scotland. In the 1901 Scottish Census, she was living at home, aged 14, and was employed as a Paper Mill worker. She married Robert Deans 12 Nov 1906 in Rutherglen, Scotland. Robert was the son of Robert and Annie Deans.
