304. Luther⁸ Andrews (William⁹, William¹⁰, John¹¹, Abraham¹² Andrus, Francis¹³) was born in Waterbury, New Haven, CT 13 April 1775. Luther died 19 August 1852 in Wolcott, New Haven, CT, at 77 years of age.

He married Martha Thomas 6 July 1797 in New Haven, CT. Martha was born 1778 in CT. Martha was the daughter of James Trehearn and Martha Barnes. Martha died 22 January 1867 in Wolcott, New Haven, CT, at 88 years of age. Her body was interred in Allentown Cmtry, Wolcott, New Haven, CT. He was a mason by trade. He built a house near the Plymouth town line. He became the first selectman for the town of Wolcott for several terms, and also served as a representative in the State General Assembly from the town of Wolcott. Both he and his wife are buried in the Allentown Cemetery, for which he gave the land.

Luther Andrews and Martha Thomas had the following children:

305 i. Randall⁷ Andrews was born in Wolcott, New Haven, CT 28 September 1799. Randall died 28 January 1831 at 31 years of age.

306 ii. Chester Andrews was born in Wolcott, New Haven, CT 1 September 1800. Chester died 7 November 1881 at 81 years of age.

307 iii. Harriet Andrews was born in Wolcott, New Haven, CT 7 August 1803. Harriet died 6 August 1843 at 39 years of age. She married Samuel Downs. Samuel was born about 1800.

308 iv. Almira Andrews was born in Wolcott, New Haven, CT 29 December 1805. Almira died 21 February 1843 at 37 years of age. She married Samuel Tolles. Samuel was born about 1802.
