326. Joel⁸ Hough (Joseph⁹, James¹⁰, Samuel¹¹, William¹², Edward¹³) was born in Wallingford, New Haven, CT 27 January 1757. Joel died 9 September 1843 in Hamden, New Haven, CT, at 86 years of age.

He married three times. He married Sarah Royce 30 March 1780 in New Haven, New Haven, CT. Sarah was born 3 September 1754 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT. Sarah was the daughter of Amos Royce and Sarah Moss. Sarah died 20 September 1801 in New Haven, New Haven, CT, at 47 years of age. He married Thankful Royce 1801. He married Ruth Hart 1820.

Joel Hough and Sarah Royce had the following children:

+ 185 i. Ira⁷ Hough was born 7 March 1783.

327 ii. Joseph Hough was born in CT about 1786.

328 iii. Hough was born in CT about 1789.

329 iv. Amos Hough was born in CT about 1791. Amos died 1869 in Hamden, CT, at 78 years of age.

330 v. Joel Hough was born in CT about 1793. Joel died in NY.
