358. Martha⁸ Hitchcock (David⁹, Benjamin¹⁰, John¹¹, Matthias OR Matthew¹², George¹³) was born in Wolcott, New Haven, CT 29 October 1780. Martha died 31 December 1863 in Woodtick, Wolcott, New Haven, CT, at 83 years of age.

She married Selah Upson 18 October 1802 in New Haven, New Haven, CT. Selah was born 20 May 1776 in Wolcott, New Haven, CT. Selah was the son of Timothy Upson and Delight Norton. Selah died 3 June 1854 in Woodtick, Wolcott, New Haven, CT, at 78 years of age. (See Selah Upson for the children resulting from this marriage.)
