253. Lemuel⁷ Gage (Remember Ingraham⁸, Benjamin⁹, John¹⁰, Thomas¹¹, Thomas¹², Thomas¹³) was born in Pawtucket, Providence, RI about 1800. Lemuel died about 1831/1832 in Pawtucket Falls, Pawtucket, Providence, RI.

He married Hannah Hill 25 September 1820 in RI. Hannah was born 4 June 1801 in Plymouth, MA. Hannah died 17 January 1877 in RI, at 75 years of age. Her body was interred in Oak Hill Cmtry, Cranston, Providence, RI. If anyone has more information about the parents or family of Hannah Hill, please contact me.

Lemuel Gage and Hannah Hill had the following children:

254 i. George Remember⁶ Gage was born in RI 11 March 1821. George Remember Gage died 5/23/1883 at Somerset, MA, according to MA death index. which states his parents. That record says that Lemuel was born in Pawtucket and that Hannah was born in Plymouth. He married Mary Ann Knapp 11 January 1843. Mary was born 1 February 1823. Mary died 3 August 1909 in Bristol, CT, at 86 years of age. In the 1880 Census, 6th Ward, Providence, Rhode Island (page 392), George and his family are living with John Mitchell (age 74) and Hannah (age 59).

255 ii. Lemuel Gage was born in RI 29 September 1823. He married Julia A. Sheridan 16 March 1847 in Providence, Providence, RI. Julia was born 1826. Julia was the daughter of Sheridan. In the 1880 Census,3rd Ward, Providence, RI, page 279, Lemuel is listed as a Master Mariner.

+ 127 iii. Isaac Gardner Gage was born 18 May 1825.

256 iv. Albert C. Gage was born in Providence, Providence, RI 30 May 1827. Albert died 28 July 1858 in Providence, Providence, RI, at 31 years of age. He married Patience A. Patience was born about 1827.
