489. Gilbert Tenant⁸ Chase (John⁹, Daniel¹⁰, Daniel¹¹, Aquilla¹², Aquila¹³, Richard¹⁴) was born in Conway, Carroll, NH 1 January 1790. Gilbert died 19 February 1868 in Paris, Oxford, ME, at 78 years of age.

He married Phoebe Jackson 1815 in Conway, Carroll, NH. Phoebe was born 6 March 1789 in Conway, Carroll, NH. Phoebe was the daughter of Samuel Jackson and Jane Gentlhome. Phoebe died 31 May 1867 in Paris, Oxford, ME, at 78 years of age.

Gilbert Tenant Chase and Phoebe Jackson had the following children:

+ 286 i. John⁷ Chase was born 7 December 1817.

490 ii. Samuel Chase was born in Conway, Carroll, NH 20 March 1823. Samuel died after 1876 in Sandwich, NH.
