612. Jebez⁹ Wood (Jebez¹⁰, David¹¹, Henry¹², John (Johannes)¹³ , Nicholas¹⁴ Atwood) was born in Middleboro, Plymouth, MA 10 March 1720. Jebez died 9 April 1793 at 73 years of age.

He married Joanna Short 7 April 1748 in Warren, Bristol, RI. Joanna was born 25 December 1715 in Swansea, Bristol, MA. Joanna was the daughter of Phillip Short and Joanah Marten. He was a Baptist Pastor in Swansea and removed to Guilford, Windham Co., VT in 1776. He was offered land in the East Village of Brattleboro for fifty cents an acre, but instead located on road 45 in Guilford, where he cleared the land which stayed in the Wood Family for four generation. He died 9 Apr 1793 in Guilford and is buried in Carpenter's Cemetery with his second wife, Rachel (Bosworth) Bullock, whom he married 1 Jan 1776 Swansea, Bristol, MA.

614 iii. Jemima Wood was born in Swansea, Bristol, MA 1 February 1752.

615 iv. Hannah Wood was born in Swansea, Bristol, MA 20 December 1755.

616 v. Sarah Wood was born in Swansea, Bristol, MA 29 November 1759.
