1677. Elizabeth¹¹ Hastings (Joseph¹², John¹³, Thomas¹⁴) was born in Watertown, Middlesex, MA 4 March 1716. Elizabeth died 23 October 1800 in Marlborough, Windham, VT, at 84 years of age. Her body was interred in Marlboro, VT.

She married Samuel Whitney 8 April 1735 in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts. Samuel was born 1710/1711 in Weston, Middlesex, MA. Samuel was the son of Nathaniel Whitney and Mercy Robinson. Samuel died 2 August 1788 in Shrewsbury, Middlesex, MA, at 77 years of age. (See Samuel Whitney for the children resulting from this marriage.)
