1032. Samuel¹⁰ Whitney (Samuel¹¹, Nathaniel¹², Nathaniel¹³, John¹⁴) was born in Weston, Middlesex, MA 23 September 1739. Samuel died 1 February 1811 in Marlborough, Windham, VT, at 71 years of age.

He married Phebe Harrington 1762 in Grafton, Worcester, Massachusetts. Phebe was born 25 May 1740 in Grafton, Worcester, MA. Phebe was the daughter of Issac Harrington and Miriam (Twin) Eagar. Phebe died 6 March 1812 in Marlborough, Windham, VT, at 71 years of age.

Samuel Whitney and Phebe Harrington had the following children:

1033 i. Catherine⁹ Whitney was born in Shrewsbury, Worcester, MA 5 May 1763.

+ 629 ii. Elizabeth (Betty) Whitney was born 26 August 1764.

1034 iii. Moses Whitney was born in Shrewsbury, Worcester, MA 20 October 1765. Moses died 1766 in Shrewsbury, Worcester, MA, at less than one year of age.

1035 iv. Moses Whitney was born in Shrewsbury, Worcester, MA 26 January 1767.

1036 v. Guliford Whitney was born in Shrewsbury, Worcester, MA 2 January 1769.

1037 vi. Samuel Whitney was born in Marlboro, Windham, MA 18 April 1772. Samuel died 17 March 1846 in Kirtland, Lake, Ohio, at 73 years of age. He married Susannah Kimball 7 April 1792 in Marlborough, Windham, Vermont.
