He married twice. He married Rachel Talcott 10 October 1622 in Engl. Rachel was born 1602 in Braintree, Essex, England. Rachel was the daughter of John Talcott and Anne Skinner. Rachel died 24 October 1653 in Farmington, Hartford, CT, at 51 years of age. He married Mercy Ruscoe 25 November 1655. 4048 ii. Samuel Steele was born in Fairsted, Essex, England 1626/1627. Samuel died 15 August 1685 in Weathersfield, Hartford, CT, at 58 years of age. He married twice. He married Mary Boosey 1651 in Fairsted, Essex, England.

4049 iii. Daniel Steele was born in Fairsted, Essex, England 1628. Daniel died 1645 at 17 years of age.

4050 iv. Rachel Steele was born in Fairsted, Essex, England 29 June 1632.

4051 v. Lydia Steele was born in Hartford, Hartford, CT 1633. Lydia died 1718 in Farmington, Hartford, CT, at 85 years of age. She married James Bird 31 March 1657 in Farmington ?, CT.

4052 vi. Mary Steele was born in Hartford, Hartford, CT 1635. Mary died 27 October 1718 in Farmington, Hartford, CT, at 83 years of age. She married William Judd 30 March 1657/1658 in Farmington, Hartford Co, Conn. William was born in Hartford, Hartford, CT. William was the son of Thomas Judd and Clemence Mason. William died October 1690 in Farmington, Hartford, CT.

4053 vii. Hannah Steele was born in Hartford, Hartford, CT 1637. Hannah died 17 July 1655 at 18 years of age.

4054 ix. Daniel Steele was born in Hartford, Hartford, CT 29 April 1645. Daniel died 1646 at 1 year of age.
