He married twice. He married Susan Jordan. He married Susannah Wolterton about 1630 in England. Susannah was born 1610 in of, Wherstead, Suffolk, England. Susannah was the daughter of Stephen Wolterton and Susannah. Susannah died 25 January 1673 in Newbury, Essex, MA, at 62 years of age.

5240 iii. Abraham Merrill was born in Newbury, Essex, MA about 1637. Abraham died 28 November 1722 in Newbury, Essex, MA, at 85 years of age. He married twice. He married Abigail Webster 18 January 1660 in Newbury, Essex, Mass. He married Sarah Rowlandson September 1713.

5241 iv. Susannah Merrill was born in Newbury, Essex, MA 1640. Susannah died 10 October 1690 in Suffield, Hartford, CT, at 50 years of age. Her body was interred 10 October 1690. She married John Burbank 15 October 1663 in Newbury, Essex, MA.

5242 v. Daniel Merrill [Sgt.] was born in Newbury, Essex, MA 20 August 1642. Daniel died 27 June 1717 in Salisbury, MA, at 74 years of age. He married twice. He married Sarah Clough 14 May 1667 in Newbury, Essex, MA. He married Sarah Morrill 23 May 1708.

5243 vi. Abel Merrill was born in Newbury, Essex, MA 20 February 1643. Abel died 28 October 1689 in Newbury, Essex, MA, at 46 years of age. He married Priscilla Chase 10 February 1670 in Newbury, Essex, Massachusetts. Priscilla was born 14 March 1648 in Newbury, Essex, MA. Priscilla was the daughter of Aquilla Chase and Anne Wheeler. Priscilla died in Newbury Ma.

5244 vii. Thomas Merrill was born in Newbury, Essex, MA 1648. He married Priscilla Chase 10 February 1670. Priscilla was born 14 March 1648 in Newbury, Essex, MA. Priscilla was the daughter of Aquilla Chase and Anne Wheeler. Priscilla died in Newbury Ma.
