In 1825 he was coachman for John Henry Vivian at Marino. In 1841 he was living at "Vivian's Lodge". By 1851 he was resident coachman at Rhyd yr Helig House. Robert died 9 Jan 1889, Aryn LodgrS/Ketty Swansea Lower, R.S.L.

He married ANN SAMBROOK. 9 Oct 1825, in Saint Mary, Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales. Ann was born 1805, Landore, Glamorgan, Wales. Ann died Dec 18, 1891, Bank Cottage, Cockett, Swansea.
