He married Sarah "Sally" Clark 26 November 1807 in Eastport, Washington, ME. Sarah was born 15 July 1792 in Eastport, Washington, ME. Sarah was the daughter of Joseph Clark Jr. and Elice. Sarah died 7 August 1857 in Lubec, Washington, ME, at 65 years of age. Her body was interred August 1857 in Plot B169, W. Lubec Cem., Lubec, ME. Timothy was a farmer at the time of the 1850 census.

James died 15 March 1883 in Lubec, Washington, ME, at 74 years of age.

261 ii. Elijah Ramsdell was born in Eastport, Washington, ME 1 November 1810. Elijah died 19 November 1890 in Lubec, Washington, ME, at 80 years of age. He married twice. He married Sarah Maria Coggins 7 January 1836 in Lubec, Washington, ME. Sarah was born July 1819 in ME. Sarah died 1 March 1877 in Lubec, Washington, ME, at 57 years of age. He married Sarah Martha Campbell 15 November 1846 in Lubec, Washington, ME. Sarah was born 1819. Sarah died 1 March 1877 in Lubec, Washington, ME, at 57 years of age. Elijah was a fisherman.

263 v. Louisa Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 5 June 1825. She married George S. Chaloner 25 May 1845 in Trescott, Washington, ME. George was born 1812. George was the son of William Chaloner and Louisa H. Foster. George died after 1860.

264 vi. Benjamin Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 1828. Benjamin died January 1876 in Pensacola, FL, at 47 years of age. He married Harriet Helen Card 28 October 1865 in Lubec, Washington, ME. Harriet was born November 1847 in Pembroke, Washington, ME. Harriet was the daughter of John Card and Harriet. Harriet died 1930 in Lubec, Washington, ME, at 82 years of age. Her body was interred in W. Lubec, Cemetery. Benjamin was a laborer. They moved to Pensacola, Florida.

265 vii. John Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 13 April 1830. John was living at home in 1850. Nothing else is known of him.

266 viii. Nelson Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 15 August 1832. Nelson died after 1850. Nelson was living at home in 1850. Nothing else is known of him.

267 ix. Melville Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 18 June 1839. Melville died after 1860. Melville was a fisherman. He was still living at home in 1860, but he was drafted for the Civil War 19 aug 1863. There is no indication that he ever fought.
