4162. Hope¹³ Howland (John¹³, Henry¹⁴) was born in Plymouth, Plymouth, MA 30 August 1629. Hope died 8 January 1683 in Barnstable, Barnstable, MA, at 53 years of age. Her body was interred January 1683 in Lothrop Hill, Barnstable, MA.

She married John Chipman 13 September 1646 in Plymouth, Plymouth, Mass. John was born 1613/1621 in Dorchester, England. John was the son of Thomas Chipman and Mrs. Thomas Chipman. John died 17 April 1708 in Sandwich, Barnstable, MA, at 93 years of age. His body was interred 7 April 1708 in Sandwich Cemetery, Sandwich, Barnstable, MA.
