He married Lucy Davis 1 April 1791. Lucy was born 1770 in MA.

Joel Pierce and Lucy Davis had the following children:

647 i. Horace⁸ Pierce was born 18 Sep 1792. He married Sally Thwing. Sally was born about 1792.

648 ii. Harvey Pierce was born 28 Mar 1794. Harvey died 19 Dec 1863 at 69 years of age. He married Cynthia Allen 9 September 1818. Cynthia was born 29 Oct 1784. Cynthia died 15 May 1875 at 90 years of age. They resided in Lancaster, Mass.

649 iii. Nabby Pierce was born 3 May 1797. She married Leonard Hartwell 3 May 1817. Leonard was born about 1797.

+ 380 iv. John B. Pierce Capt. was born 19 January 1800.

650 v. Martha Pierce was born 2 Oct 1801. Martha died 1 Feb 1802 at less than one year of age.

651 vi. B. Franklin Pierce was born 30 Apr 1803. He married Cynthia O. Stowe 6 September 1827. Cynthia was born 12 Aug 1805. Cynthia died 12 Feb 1876 at 70 years of age.

652 vii. Joel Pierce was born 18 Jan 1805. Joel died 22 Apr 1869 at 64 years of age. He married Mary J. Hawes 1 May 1846. Mary was born 9 Oct 1820.

653 viii. Louisa Pierce was born 20 Oct 1807. Louisa died soon after her marriage.

654 ix. Lucy Pierce was born 16 Nov 1809. Lucy died unmarried.

655 x. Almira Pierce was born 17 Oct 1811. Almira died 20 Dec 1812 at 1 year of age.

656 xi. George W. Pierce was born 11 Oct 1815. He married Cynthia Richards. Cynthia was born about 1815. They resided in Boston at the Highlands, at 8 Millmont Street.
