9. William⁶ Naylor (Joseph⁵, Charles⁴, James³, Joseph², George¹) was born in Leeds, Yorkshire, England 4 August 1852. William died 21 August 1918 in Springfield, Hampden, MA, at 66 years of age. His body was interred in Lot 4-Group 146, Oakland Cem, Cranston, RI.

He married twice. He married Ida Elizabeth Gage 18 June 1890 in Hartford, Hartford, CT. Ida was born 24 February 1859 in Newport, Newport, RI. She was the daughter of Isaac Gardner Gage and Nancy Jeffers Streeter. Ida died 18 January 1949 in West Springfield, Hampden, MA, at 89 years of age. He married Eliza Ann Ellis 26 Dec. They were divorced 8 Nov 1888 in Massachusetts. William was born at Bradford, Yorkshire, but grew up at Leeds, Yorkshire. The family came to Holyoke about 1883. William recieved his naturalization certificate 13 October 1892 at Kings County, NY. He was an Organ Maker. He died at 10:55am at 35 Able Avenue in Springfield.

William Naylor and Ida Elizabeth Gage had the following children:

• + 20 i. Tirzah Esther⁷ Naylor was born 24 July 1891.

• + 21 ii. Benjamin Eli Naylor was born 1 November 1892.

• 22 iii. Mildred Vida Naylor was born 29 January 1895.

• + 23 iv. Atarah Eunice Naylor was born 19 March 1898.

• + 24 v. Phebe Abigail Naylor was born 27 August 1900.
