18. James Arnold⁵ Openshaw (James Arnold⁴, James Moss³, James², William¹) was born in Newport, Newport, RI 14 November 1933.

He married Barbara Ann Falge 8 September 1956. Barbara was born 4 September 1935. She is the daughter of Raymond Louis Falge and Alma Marie Schiffer. James Openshaw (Jim) graduated from VMI and served in the Navy. He founded and owns Cherry Hill Construction Company, a multi-million dollar excavation and road construction company based in Laurel, Maryland.

James Arnold Openshaw and Barbara Ann Falge had the following children:

• + 23 i. James Arnold⁶ Openshaw was born 7 January 1958.

• + 24 ii. David Burton Openshaw was born November 18, 1959.

• + 25 iii. Mark Falge Openshaw was born May 17, 1962.

• + 26 iv. Ann Lynn Openshaw was born 18 November 1963.
