82. John¹⁶ Openshaw (James¹⁵, John¹⁴, Thomas¹³, John¹², James¹¹ Openshey, James¹⁰, John⁹ Opensha, James⁸ Openshowe, James⁷, Lamwell⁶ Openshall, Thomas⁵ Openshawe, John⁴ Opynscha, ...³, Richard², ¹ Opynscha of the Schae) was born 1803. John died 6 January 1864 at 60 years of age.

He married Betty Mills. Betty was born 2 June 1806. Betty died 16 February 1870 at 63 years of age.

John Openshaw and Betty Mills had the following children:

116 i. Rachel¹⁷ Openshaw. She married John Lever 5 June 1872.

117 ii. James Openshaw.

118 iii. Sarah Openshaw.

119 iv. Eliza Openshaw.

120 v. John Openshaw was born 29 June 1848. He married Eliza Bates 18 March 1891. Eliza was the daughter of Edward Bates. Eliza was of The Springs, Bury. John was of Manchester Road, Bury.
