137. John C.¹⁰ Pierce (John B.⁹, Joel⁸, Josiah⁷, Isaac⁶, Joseph⁵, Daniel⁴, Anthony³, John² Pers, Richard¹ Pierce) was born in Putney, Windham, VT 7 April 1827. John died in Andersonville, Prison, Civil War.

He married Ellen S. Page 1848. Ellen was born 1831. John was a Carpenter in the 1860 census, living in Putney, VT. He joined the VT Cavalry and died in Andersonville Prison.

John C. Pierce and Ellen S. Page had the following children:

160 i. Abbie¹¹ Pierce was born in VT 1851.

161 ii. Frank George Pierce was born in VT 1854.

162 iii. Leslie E. Pierce was born in VT 1858.

163 iv. John Pierce was born in VT 1860.
