14. William³ Ramsdell (Zephaniah², Abijah¹) was born 26 Oct 1765. William died 29 Mar 1845 at 79 years of age.

He married Mary Burlingame 2 January 1794 in Hope, Scituate, Providence, RI. Mary was born 31 Mar 1779. She was the daughter of Stephen Burlingame and Ruth King. Mary died 29 Mar 1860 at 80 years of age. William resided in Scituate, Rhode Island. "He was a farmer and a blacksmith on the Furnace Road, a little west of the Hope Village; a very honorable man." William Ramsdell and Mary Burlingame had the following children:

• 35 i. Esek⁴ Ramsdell was born 18 Sep 1794. Esek died 21 Sep 1797 at 3 years of age.

• 36 ii. Deliverence Ramsdell was born 18 Jan 1796. Deliverence died 22 Sep 1797 at 1 years of age.

• + 37 iii. Susan Martin Ramsdell was born 29 Jul 1797.

• + 38 iv. Phebe Ramsdell was born 4 Jun 1800.

• + 39 v. Eliza O. Ramsdell was born 30 Jul 1802.

• + 40 vi. Mary A. Ramsdell was born 8 November 1804.

• + 41 vii. Celia Ramsdell was born 7 Aug 1814.
