544. Levi⁸ Ramsdell (Timothy⁷, Ebenezer⁶, Nathaniel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Isaac³, Isaac², John¹) was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 8 March 1813. Levi died 6 June 1889 in Lubec, Washington, ME, at 76 years of age. His body was interred June 1889.

He married Mary Mehitable McGlauflin 7 December 1845 in Charlotte, Washington, ME. Mary was born 20 July 1822 in Charlotte, Washington, ME. Mary was the daughter of William McGlauflin and Mehitable "Kitty" Smith. Mary died 12 April 1895 in Providence, Providence, RI, at 72 years of age. Her body was interred April 1895. Her body is interred in plot B167, West Lubec Cemetery, Lubec, Maine. Levi was a teacher at the Gorham Normal School and Colby College, as well as a State Senator. He was invited to the inauguration of Abraham Lincoln. His body is interred in plot B167, West Lubec Cemetery, Lubec, Maine.

Levi Ramsdell and Mary Mehitable McGlauflin had the following children:

953 i. Clarinda⁹ Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 20 October 1847. Clarinda died 19 December 1925 in Providence, Providence, RI, at 78 years of age. Her body was interred 1925 in Plot B166, W. Lubec Cem., Lubec, ME. She married Mr. Armstrong. Mr. was born about 1847.

+ 954 ii. Solon Ramsdell was born 30 April 1849.

955 iii. Abby S. Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 7 July 1853. Abby died 7 April 1939 in Providence, Providence, RI, at 85 years of age. Abbie was living on Manton Avenue in Providence, RI in 1900. (Census) She was listed as 46, not married, and she was a "Sewer" at the Woolen Mill.

+ 956 iv. Thomas Jefferson Ramsdell was born 13 November 1859.

+ 957 v. Albion F. Ramsdell was born 22 June 1867.
