311. Knight⁶ Ramsdell (Moses⁵, Moses⁴, Benjamin³, Aquilla², John¹) was born in Whitestown, Oneida, NY 1795. Knight died 24 July 1855 in Grafton, McHenry Co., IL, at 60 years of age.

He married Eliza Austin bef 1815. Eliza was born 1798 in NY. Information about her birth date and place comes from the 1850 census.

Knight Ramsdell and Eliza Austin had the following children:

475 i. Nelson⁷ Ramsdell was born in Oneida Co., NY 1815. Nelson died 30 January 1892 in Chaska, Carver, MN, at 76 years of age. He married twice. He married Adeline Hollister 28 March 1842 in Ellisburg, NY. They were divorced 24 January 1879 in Grafton, IL.

Adeline was born about 1815. He married Susan 24 December 1881 in Chaska, Carver, MN. Susan was born about 1830.

476 ii. Jane Ramsdell was born about 1817. Jane died after 1855. She married Silas Wood. Silas was born about 1817.

477 iii. James Van Renschelar Ramsdell was born 29 Mar 1820. James died 1903 in Ellisburg, NY, at 83 years of age. He married Cynthia Naomi Snow 30 August 1841. Cynthia was born about 1820. James lived in the town of Mexico, Oswego Co., NY.

478 iv. Charles Dwight Ramsdell was born in New Hartford. Oneida, NY 13 May 1822. Charles died 1879 in Houston Co., MN, at 57 years of age. He married Sarah Wood 2 June 1842. Sarah was born about 1822.

479 v. Loren Ramsdell was born in Ellisburg, NY 1834. Loren died 1873 at 39 years of age.
