210. Ebenezer⁶ Ramsdell (Nathaniel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Isaac³, Isaac², John¹) was born in Lynn, Essex, MA 21 July 1763. Ebenezer died 3 October 1846 in Lubec, Washington, ME, at 83 years of age.

He married Mary Ramsdell 6 November 1785 in Lynn, Essex, MA. Mary was born 21 May 1762 in Lynn, Essex, MA. Mary was the daughter of Kimball Ramsdell and Mary Ramsdell. Mary died 21 February 1840 in Lubec, Washington, ME, at 77 years of age. He served in the American Revolution. Enlisted 1 May 1780, marched to Springfield and joined Capt Whites Company, Col. Putnams Massachusetts Regiment on 13 July, 1780 and served for 7 Months at Westpoint and New Jersey. His enlistment contract describes him as 5 foot, 1 inches, light complexion, age 18 years. He then joined the Navy, serving 4 Months, 15 days on the "Brutus", 5 Months on the "Buccanier" and 2 Months on the "Penguin". He removed to Eastport shortly after being married (Presumably on a land grant for military service) and was granted land in Lubec (Township No. 8) before 1808. He was granted a pension on 27 July 1833 and placed on the pension rolls 16 Dec. 1833 receiving $103.99 and $20.00 per annum following. They are both most likely buried off Maple Tree Road in Lubec, on the site of their original home.

Ebenezer Ramsdell and Mary Ramsdell had the following children:

+ 348 i. Timothy⁷ Ramsdell was born 11 January 1785.

+ 349 ii. Polly Ramsdell was born 17 November 1787.

+ 350 iii. Martha (Patty) Ramsdell was born 30 May 1789.

351 iv. Sally Ramsdell was born in Eastport, Washington, ME 16 March 1791. Sally died 1 May 1811 at 20 years of age.

352 v. Rebecca Ramsdell was born in Eastport, Washington, ME 1 June 1793. Rebecca died 1819 at 26 years of age. She married Ebenezer Rice 2 December 1813 in Lubec, Washington, ME. Ebenezer was born about 1793.

353 vi. Fanny Ramsdell was born in Eastport, Washington, ME 10 February 1796. She married William Clark III 19 February 1817 in Lubec, Washington, ME. William was born 1799 in Eastport, Washington, ME. William was the son of Joseph Clark Jr. and Elice. William died 16 May 1857 in Lubec, Washington, ME, at 57 years of age. Fanny had 5 children with William, then married Joseph Robinson as his second wife. (His first wife was Sarah Ramsdell with whom he had children James, Davenport and Sanford Hugh before she died 2 July 1834 at age of 34 in Lubec). Joseph Robinson was 92 years old at time of Fanny's obituary in 1882. In AB Robinson's obituary d.Nov 6, 1907 it says his parents (Fanny and Joseph) died the same year; mother on March 10 and father on July 1, 1882. A.B. Robinson's obituary said "with his death only one member of this family is now living, a daughter, Mrs. Marion Trefry, a resident of Maine". Also said on March 10, 1864 "Andrew Bradford Robinson and Ruth Melissa Case, also a native of Lubec, were united in marriage. In 1869 they came west to Wisconsin and settled in Necedah". Fanny died March 10, 1882.

+ 354 vii. Ebenezer Ramsdell was born 22 October 1799.

355 viii. Elizabeth Ramsdell was born in Eastport, Washington, ME 15 June 1802.
