He married twice. He married Mary Ann Minot 7 November 1824 in Lubec, Washington, ME. Mary was born 1805. Mary died after 1860 in Lubec, Washington, ME. He married Marietta Andrews 2 September 1865 in Lubec, Washington, ME. Marietta was born about 1832. Marietta was the daughter of John Andrews and Sarah. He was still alive in 1860.

Ebenezer Ramsdell and Mary Ann Minot had the following children:

+ 639 i. Thomas⁸ Ramsdell was born 1 September 1825.

640 ii. Susannah Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 30 September 1828.

641 iii. Rebecca H. Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 1832.

642 iv. Jemima Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 1833. She married Nathaniel Stover 3 April 1853 in Milbridge, Washington, ME. Nathaniel was born about 1833.

643 v. George Edward Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 28 December 1835. George died 15 October 1864 in City Point, VA, at 28 years of age. His body was interred in Split Hill, Cemetery, Lubec, Maine. He enlisted in Co. K, 20 Maine Inf. on 30 jul 1862, mustered 29 Aug 1862. He was a Sergeant. He was wounded at Peebles Farm, Virginia and died at City Point Hospital, Virginia on 16 oct 1864.

644 vi. Mary A. Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 15 July 1838.

645 vii. Hannah Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 9 May 1843.

646 viii. Laura Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 1 August 1845. Laura died before 1850 in Lubec, Washington, ME.

+ 647 ix. Adoniram Judson Ramsdell was born 18 June 1847.

+ 648 x. Sarah S. Ramsdell was born 1849.
