221. James⁶ Ramsdell {Jr.} (James⁵, Timothy⁴, Isaac³, Isaac², John¹) was born in Lynn, Essex, MA 1760. James died 27 April 1829 in Lubec, Washington, ME, at 68 years of age.

He married Juda Morang 25 December 1789 in Whiting, Washington, ME. Juda was born 1775 in New Brunswick, Canada. Juda was the daughter of Francois Morang and Rosalie Forest. Juda died 26 April 1844 in Trescott, Washington, ME, at 68 years of age. He served during Revolutionary War enlisting (place not stated) at the commencement of the war, and served until the end of 1776 as a private. He was in the Battle of Trenton and guarded prisoners, taken in that engagement, to Philadelphia where he enlisted in January 1777, in Capt. Fowles Co., Col. John Greaton's 3d Mass. Regt., discharged June 8, 1783 having served six years, five months. He was honored with the Badge of Merit for six years faithful service. A descriptive list dated 25 Jan 1781 at Westpoint: Age 21 years; stature, 5ft, 6in; complexion, light; hair, dark; eyes, blue; residence, Lynn, Mass., enlisted 1 Jan 1777 by Lieut. Tuttle for duration of the War. He was allowed a Pension on account of his service on his application executed April 27, 1818, at which time he resided in Lubec, Washington Co. Mass. (now Maine). He was then in the 57th year of his age. He married Juda Morang on 25 Dec 1789, in Orangetown, Mass., (now Maine), later called Whiting, Maine. She was the daughter of Francois and Rosalie (Forest) Morang. She married second, David Robinson on 30 August, 1832 in Lubec. He died August 1837. Juda Morang Ramsdell Robinson was allowed a Pension on account of her former husband's Revolutionary War service; execution June 23, 1843, at which time she resided in Washington Co., Maine. In 1844 she resided in Trescott, Maine, same County. Her age was given then as 76. (In 1843 it was given as 71).

+ 381 vi. Ebenezer Ramsdell was born 18 August 1803.

+ 382 vii. Isaac Ramsdell was born 18 August 1803.

383 viii. Sarah Ramsdell was born in Eastport, Washington, ME 31 May 1807. Sarah died 1 May 1810 in Eastport, Washington, ME, at 2 years of age.

+ 384 ix. Joseph Ramsdell was born 6 April 1810.

+ 385 x. Betsey Ramsdell was born 28 February 1814.

386 xi. Sally Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 10 June 1816.
